A SYMPHONY OF ART, LITERATURE AND MUSIC AT HEMOMA PRIVATE ART GALLERY

In a pleasant blend of creativity and culture, the Society for Art Collection (Sartcol), Aifa Reading Society, and HeMoMa Private Art Gallery recently joined forces to host an event that beautifully intertwined art, nature, literature and music. This event attracted individuals and professionals from different fields who are passionate about art and sustainable development. Guests were treated to an exhilarating experience, exploring the gallery’s impressive art collection and its natural surroundings.

This event was more than simply a celebration of the arts; it was a demonstration of our dedication to advancing sustainable practices and environmental awareness while projecting art and offering a platform for an informed art collection. By hosting this event, we joined the global movement advocating for a greener future.

One of the highlights was the book reading session, which included prominent people like Professor Fabian Ajogwu, OFR, SAN (Co-Founder and Board member, Sartcol), Dr. Ebere Njoku, Najite Dede; a renowned actress and Hon. Justice Folashade (RTD). With readings from A Little Violence by Seun Lari-William, they enthralled the audience and sparked conversations on issues that are universal: racism, love, tribalism and humanity. These readings demonstrated how art can act as a potent unifier by providing visual representations of our common experiences and viewpoints.

Another major highlight of the event was the intriguing competition introduced by Professor Fabian Ajogwu, OFR, SAN, during the viewing session. This competition added a unique dimension to the experience, as participants were challenged to guess the film’s ending. It was an engaging exercise that stimulated everyone’s thinking and guessing. As with any competition, a winner had to be chosen. After carefully reviewing all the guests’ answers, Yacoub Adeleke, Head of Operations at Sartcol, emerged victorious, winning one of the unique art pieces created by Dr. Adekunle Dahshur, the founder of HEMOMA Private Art Gallery and our special host for this event
